The Aspire Program at NCA is an adult literacy education program that provides services at no cost to adults who 1) want to learn to read or improve their basic skills, 2) who are seeking to pass the GED or HiSET exams, or 3) who have a high school diploma but want to improve their skills to prepare for college or employment opportunities. We serve adults ages 16 and above. Our program follows a hyflex model that allows students to attend in person or virtually. All students work with licensed educators. Students can also get additional assistance from a tutor.
Become a Student - If you want to be a student, please complete the registration form and one of our team members will contact you with information about how to attend our orientation.
Become a Tutor - We are seeking volunteers to tutor our adult learners. Tutors can choose to be "on-site support" or a "one-to-one tutor." On-site support tutors assist multiple learners in the classroom, where one-to-one tutors are matched with one particular student. This promotes continuity for the students and the tutors.
